Apprentices Ben Warburton and George Hopkins recently visited St Philip’s Westbrook Primary – Ben’s former school – to deliver a STEM talk to the Year 6 class.
Armed with our trusty demo duck, they introduced the pupils to the basics of engineering and nuclear energy in a fun and accessible way. The children were full of brilliant questions and curiosity – a promising sign for the next generation of engineers.
We’re grateful to the Year 6 teacher for the warm welcome and positive feedback, and proud of Ben and George for giving back to the community by inspiring future talent at the very place where it all begins.
