The mechanical systems primarily covered in this role are predominately for the nuclear industry, both on new build and decommissioning sites and projects, and can include mechanical handling equipment, beta and gamma plant equipment, and process piping and related equipment. We need applicants with experience in checking and reviewing mechanical design deliverables to programme deadlines and relevant standards; producing design deliverables including Quality Plans, Basis of Design, Schedules, Reports and Assessments; evaluation of design proposals in terms of cost, programme, resources, technical complexity etc.; production of time and cost estimates for engineering tasks.

You will be responsible for planning, designing, executing and monitoring every aspect of a specific project. Key duties include meeting with management and clients to identify project requirements, delivery timelines and costs, identifying and assigning project tasks based on the skill sets, experience and strengths of staff members and compiling and submitting project status reports to clients, management and other stakeholders.
