As part of our 20th anniversary celebrations, we’re proud to unveil a stunning new mural at our Birchwood office – a vibrant, hand-drawn and hand-painted tribute to Tenet’s past, present and future.

Designed, illustrated and painted in situ by local illustrator Stef Woof, the mural is not only a creative centrepiece, but a celebration of everything that makes Tenet unique. From our proud heritage in the nuclear industry to our growing focus on STEM education, apprenticeships and a more sustainable energy future – every element has been carefully considered and captured in Stef’s signature style, using Tenet’s brand palette throughout.

Warrington based artist Stef, who has deep connections to the nuclear industry through her husband and father who work here on Birchwood Park and Hinton House, was the perfect choice for the role. In a time where digital art and AI are dominating headlines, we’re especially proud that this mural is entirely hand-drawn and hand-painted – a nod to Tenet’s engineering roots, technical precision, and the craft of real design.

Kate McDermott, Commercial Director at Tenet, shared:

“They say a picture paints a thousand words – and we knew we wanted something that told our story visually, in a way that truly reflected who we are. As a business built on real relationships and quality delivery, it made sense to approach this mural like any other Tenet project: through collaboration, creativity, and trust in our people.”

Created to spark conversation and bring colour to our workspace, the mural is already turning heads and becoming a talking point for visitors and team members alike. We invite everyone who visits the office to take a moment to enjoy the detail, energy and storytelling woven into the piece.

We’re also delighted to announce Stef as Tenet’s official Artist in Residence, and can’t wait to share her next creation – a bespoke mural for our M-SParc office in Wales, inspired by the spectacular Snowdonia landscape and the region’s exciting role in Tenet’s future.

Stef Woof added:

“As Tenet’s Artist in Residence, it was my job to completely immerse myself in the company’s culture and history to create a design that truly celebrated their 20th anniversary. I collaborated closely with different representatives from the team to create a visual narrative that tells a story about where Tenet started, where they have been, and where they’re heading.”

Keep an eye out for more collaborations between Tenet and Stef – we can’t wait to share it with you!
