Apprenticeships

Everyone is a leader

We believe that everyone, regardless of their role or experience, has the potential to be a leader. Our IET-accredited degree apprenticeship programme is designed to nurture this leadership mindset from day one.

Apprentices are encouraged to take ownership of their work, contribute ideas, and develop the skills needed to lead in their field. Through mentorship, hands-on experience, and a supportive team environment, we empower apprentices to build confidence, take initiative, and grow into future leaders in the engineering sector.

Our apprentices love their work

Our apprentices are passionate about their work and the opportunities it provides to grow and develop. Working only on live and real projects, they thrive in a collaborative environment where they contribute to exciting and challenging projects, gaining hands-on experience while learning from experts in the field.

Our apprentices value the practical skills they acquire, the mentorship they receive, and the chance to play an active role in shaping the future of the engineering industry. It’s this enthusiasm and dedication that drives our success and fosters a vibrant, motivated team.

Career pathways

We believe in fostering long-term career growth, and our apprenticeship programme provides a clear pathway for progression. Apprentices begin by gaining hands-on experience and technical knowledge, and as they advance, they have the opportunity to specialise in areas like design, project management, or senior engineering roles.

With dedicated mentorship and support at every stage, we equip our apprentices with the skills and experience needed to thrive and build a successful career within the engineering and nuclear industries.

Your Journey as an Apprentice

Our typical candidate has completed their Level 3 qualification and is looking for a degree apprenticeship.

This route shows the pathway in England. Our bespoke Welsh pathway may look a little different and is delivered in collaboration with Coleg Menai and Bangor University. Please get in touch if you would like to know more.

The most rewarding part of my apprenticeship has been supporting a project from commissioning into operations. The experience and knowledge I’ve gained at Tenet is unique – I know other apprentices in my year haven’t had the same opportunities.
